Coaching is a trust purchase, and trust is built from evidence. Below are three engagements where the outcomes were specific and measurable — chosen because the client agreed to be quoted, and because the work involved different parts of the practice.
Case 1 · Talk for Writing implementation
Engagement. Twelve months of educational training and curriculum support for a partner primary school. Initial scoping audit, then bespoke CPD aligned to the School Development Plan, plus modelled lessons and a curriculum review covering reception through Year 6.
Outcome. The school saw meaningful improvement in writing outcomes within a single academic year, subsequently becoming a referral point for other schools in the borough.
"Hiral worked closely with our school on English writing provision. The impact was that our school's Key Stage 2 outcomes improved by 18%, moving from below national expectations to above. I would gladly work with Hiral again." — Mrs K. Portou, Assistant Head Y4–6
Case 2 · 1:1 coaching for a senior leader
Engagement. A series of fortnightly 1:1 coaching sessions over six months with a senior leader navigating a complex internal restructure. Sessions focused on identifying options the client could already see but couldn't act on, and translating those into clear next steps with their team.
Outcome. Clearer prioritisation week-to-week, more productive conversations with direct reports, and confidence in decisions that had been carried for too long.
"Hiral's insightful questioning challenged me to consider all my options. This led to productive conversations, which helped me to implement strategies at work that I felt invested in. It was empowering to come up with solutions myself." — SM, 1:1 Coaching
Paul — Headteacher
"Hiral's coaching has been genuinely transformative. She helped me gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of direction in my professional life. Her insight and support have also made a meaningful difference to me on a personal level." — Paul, Headteacher
Andrew — Senior Relationship Manager, Shaw Trust
"Been working with Hiral for a few months now and have found her to be a very effective coach who skilfully questions and probes till you solve the problem yourself. I leave every session filled with confidence and a plan for tackling my next challenge. I would recommend Hiral to leaders of all levels of experience. You never know what will be discovered from the reflection Hiral facilitates." — Andrew Webber, Senior Relationship Manager at Shaw Trust
Yvonne — Humanitarian Program Manager, Swiss Red Cross
"Working with Hiral, I've found the courage and strength to tackle issues that earlier would have seemed overwhelming, and I've improved personal and professional relationships and communication as a result of the sessions with her. Hiral's passion for coaching, her professional techniques and her kind, calm personality create a perfect, safe and encouraging environment for reflection and growth. I am very grateful to have found Hiral as a coach and for the journey she has accompanied me on, and can only recommend her to anyone who will be fortunate enough to work with her." — Yvonne Affolter, Humanitarian Program Manager / Deputy Head of Disaster Management Unit at Swiss Red Cross
Case 3 · Educational coaching for a classroom teacher
Engagement. Educational coaching sessions across a school year, supporting a teacher moving toward middle leadership. Work focused on recognising existing leadership skills already in practice, building confidence to mentor colleagues, and developing reflective routines.
Outcome. Teacher reported greater confidence, sharper self-evaluation, and concrete changes in practice that improved both decision-making and the way they supported colleagues.
"The coaching sessions provided a calm space that not only encouraged me to reflect but also boosted my confidence. I learned to critically evaluate my leadership style — and implement changes that positively impacted my practice." — KS, Educational coaching
Case 4 · CPD partnership across a primary phase
Engagement. A multi-term partnership delivering CPD aligned to the school's improvement priorities, plus modelled best-practice visits and review of internal monitoring routines.
Outcome. Pupil outcomes moved from below to above national expectations at both expected and greater depth standards — a structural shift, not a one-off.
"Attending Hiral's CPD and utilising her experience to shape our own school's monitoring schedule enabled us to move pupil outcomes from below to above national expectations. I highly recommend her." — Mr M. Thompson-Lawrie, Deputy Head / DSL
Case 5 · External moderation and a vocabulary workshop
Engagement. Worked alongside Hiral on external writing moderation between 2021 and 2023, and later invited her to lead a workshop on developing vocabulary for a network of English Leads.
Outcome. A thoughtfully planned, research-informed session that gave teachers practical tools to apply straight away.
"I came to know Hiral as professional and fair, with sound knowledge of writing through her years of working with children, schools and colleagues to develop writing across the primary phase. Hiral is calm, objective and committed to supporting colleagues and children. The session was thoughtfully planned, research-informed and gave teachers practical tips and tools to apply straight away." — Stephanie Hilder, English Consultant
What these have in common
Different contexts, but a shared shape: a scoping conversation to understand what's actually being asked, a bespoke engagement (not an off-the-shelf programme), and outcomes that are visible in someone's day-to-day practice rather than in a feedback form.
If any of this sounds like the work you need doing, the next step is a 30-minute discovery call. Free, no pitch.
