The long version of a quiet story.

Hiral Kelly — Founder · ICF ACC

I am a professional coach — an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) — with over 20 years' experience supporting leaders and managers across a range of settings, with particular expertise in education. Each role I've held taught me something different about how change moves through an organisation — and how often it stalls because the people leading it are running out of room to think.

I help leaders build strong, inclusive cultures where people feel valued, supported and empowered to perform at their best. Through tailored training and development programmes, I strengthen leadership capability and embed coaching-driven behaviours that transform teams and organisations from within.

Working with organisations

Drawing on my leadership experience in education, I bring a depth of insight that helps me quickly recognise patterns, anticipate challenges, and support leaders with grounded, strategic guidance. I've worked with organisations to design and deliver training that's rigorous, evidence-informed and, just as importantly, usable on Monday morning.

My coaching is personalised, holistic, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I tailor each coaching relationship to the leader's goals and stay current with best practice to ensure a high-quality, reflective coaching experience.

Diversity, woven through

Diversity and inclusivity in the curriculum are principles I hold dear. I crafted school-specific units, enriched existing modules, and worked to ensure a rich selection of literature for students. Through cluster-school networking I helped identify a need for curriculum diversification — and the work that followed shaped my own school's approach.

That same commitment runs through the coaching work. My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that diversity is a strength that enriches all communities. I work collaboratively with leaders to harness this strength — helping them navigate challenges, leverage opportunities, and foster cultures where equitable outcomes feel inevitable rather than aspirational.

Why coaching

After two decades inside the system, I'd seen too many capable, principled leaders running on fumes — not because they lacked skill, but because they lacked space to think. Coaching gives them that. It isn't therapy. It isn't consulting. It's a quiet, structured pause that turns "I think I know what to do but I can't quite see it" into "here's what I'm doing next, and why".

"Coaching brings comfort to the troubled and trouble to the comfortable."

I love that quote because it conveys everything coaching is — an intervention that supports as well as a tool that probes, deepens reflection, and helps remove self-limiting beliefs. The aim is always the same: to empower the person sitting opposite me to reach their full potential, in their own words, on their own terms.
